The NetGear M4250-40G8F-PoE+ is an AV Line Managed Switch. It has 40 PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet ports, a 480W power budget, and 8 SFP uplink ports, making it suitable for AV over IP applications. The switch is ready to use right away, with configuration for standard audio and video signals already set up. Users will also benefit from AV web-based GUI configuration as well as customisation options with port-based profiles supporting protocols. The rear-facing ports provide a clean, integrated look in AV racks. NETGEAR’s IGMP Plus™ provides simple multicast setup and consistent performance in complex AV environments. With a non-blocking fabric capacity of 96 Gbps across its 48 ports, the switch provides low-latency, high-speed data transmission which is ideal for professional AV installations.
