What is an immersive room?

Immersive classrooms, otherwise known as sensory rooms, are rooms like no other! Using augmented reality, our immersive rooms bring scenes to life using projectors, vinyl flooring, LED lighting, as well as optional wind and aroma machines. Designed to provide a multi-sensory, fully interactive experience that promotes active learning and engagement, our immersive classrooms play on our senses of touch, sight, smell and taste to enrich each learner's quality of education.

Unlike other providers, our extensive immersive content library, which is currently home to over 6000 captivating scenarios, is continually updated by both our in-house creative team and institutions who have one of our immersive classrooms. Content can be controlled by your included tablet and can easily be manipulated to suit your lesson plans.

What optional extras are available?

Immersive rooms can be custom built to suit your exact needs. Optional extras can be added on to make your space as immersive as possible, these include LED lighting, wind machines, and finally, aroma dispensers – which come with an extensive aroma library. Our sales team will be happy to help find the perfect solution for your school.

Salford City College Group

Salford City College Group’s immersive solution is made up of three fully interactive walls, a vinyl floor and three premium laser wall projectors, allowing for seamless knitting together of images.

As well as this, this particular room was custom built to incorporate six premium aroma dispensers, a wind machine, LED lighting and bespoke software designed specifically for the SCC Group by our in-house creative team.
