The Blustream SW42DA is a four way HDMI switch designed to break out, convert, and downmix embedded Dolby Audio or DTS Audio within an HDMI switching environment. The SW42DA passes native video with embedded multichannel audio to compatible equipment on output one. A second HDMI output provides optional video down scaling from 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 or 4:2:0 to 1080p, with either native embedded audio or downmixed two channel audio as required. The SW42DA offers an advanced yet cost effective solution for distributing 4K UHD video and multichannel audio across a Dante multi room system. It is ideal for environments that include a mix of two channel, seven point one channel, or immersive audio zones such as seven point one point two or five point one point four. This makes it well suited for cinema and media room installations where local content needs to be shared across a multi zone system using either multichannel or downmixed audio.
