The Apprimo Touch 8i is an 8-inch Apprimo touch panel interface with a built-in Impera controller for the LAN-based control of IP devices. It is powered via PoE and includes PIR sensors that turn the screen on upon detection of motion and adjusts the screen brightness to the ambient light level in the room. The user interface and the LED indicator strips can all be fully configured with Project Designer software, which provides several different themes and templates that can be customized. The Touch 8i has two LED indicator strips on the back of the control panel which illuminate when a user presses a button or the device gives feedback to the user of what the control panel is doing. The Touch 8i can control up to 20 IP-based devices, allowing for you to configure a solution that meets the customers specifications perfectly.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) (IEEE 802.3at Class 3,15 watts) is used to power the Touch 8i. Connect it using a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable to streamline installation and avoid cable clutter.
