The NetGear M4250-40G8XF-PoE+ is a managed switch for AV over IP applications that is purpose-built and high performance. It has 40 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports , and 8 SFP+ ports for high-speed 10G uplinks to transmit data smoothly. The switch is pre-configured for common audio and video signals and comes ready-to-use. With its ports installed in the back, a tidy installation is possible in an AV rack. Automatic switch interconnect features like NETGEAR AutoTrunk, Auto-LAG, and IGMP Plus™ make configurations and the ability to scale the network easier. The nonblocking fabric capacity for the 48 ports is 240 Gbps and with a latency of less than 10 microseconds is ideal for a professional AV use. The sleek new industrial design includes selectable fan modes for quiet operation situations. The M4250-40G8XF-PoE+ is also flexible enough with optional mounting providing standard and recessed mounting options for use based on job site needs.
