The NetGear M4250-12M2XF AV Line 12-Port Managed Rackmount 2.5-Gigabit Switch has been designed and built for audio/video professionals with dedicated service. A/V codecs typically use either 1Gbps or 10Gbps streams, and this model of the M4250-12M2XF was made with the large majority of codecs that operate at 1Gbps in mind. It is pre-configured for standard audio and video signals, but for more specific applications an AV user interface allows for customisation with port-based profiles.
