    About this item

The Cambridge Qt X sound masking system relies on Qt Emitters as its primary source. Qt Emitters are direct field loudspeakers with wide dispersion or nearly 180 degrees, which utilize a 1.25-inch (3.17cm) driver and are smaller than a coffee mug. Each Emitter has DIP switches that will allow you to reduce volume by 9 dB in 3 dB increments. The Emitters deliver four uncorrelated channels of audio, which automatically removes phasing. Emitters are plenum rated and ETL listed, and are compliant with the UL 2043 standard. Each Emitter also comes standard with a slip-ring mount for acoustical tile mounting. Because of all of this, plus the fact that they are plug and play installation and configuration, Qt X systems are the most intelligently engineered and most effective sound masking systems on the market today. Biamp Cambridge E-A-30-4 Standard Emitters

The Cambridge Qt® X sound masking system is built on the use of Qt® Emitters. This means that Qt Emitters are wide dispersion (nearly 180 degrees) direct field devices with 1.25” (3.17 cm) drivers.

Emitters include DIP switches that allow their volume to be decreased up to 9 dB, in 3 dB increments. Emitters are designed to deliver four uncorrelated channels of audio and will automatically eliminate phasing.

Emitters are plenum rated, ETL listed and comply with UL 2043. Each emitter comes standard with a slip-ring mount for acoustical tile.

Overall, these features make a Cambridge Qt® X sound masking system the most intelligently engineered and effective sound masking systems available.

      Key Features
      • Wide dispersion direct field speakers with 1.25 inch (3.17cm) drivers
      • Small driver size results in nearly 180-degree dispersion of direct field sound masking
      • Reduces acoustical interference by using four uncorrelated channels
      • DIP switches attenuate the volume level up to 9 dB in 3 dB decrements for easy micro-zoning
      • Plug and play installation and easy configuration
      • Comes standard with slip ring for acoustical tile mounting
      • CE marked, ETL listed, and RoHS compliant
      • Evaluated to the requirements of UL 2043 and is suitable for use in air handling spaces

      Common questions

How much is delivery and how long will it take?

Delivery is calculated at checkout, and most in-stock items ship within a few working days. Larger or made-to-order items, such as video walls, LED and some signage, have longer lead times that we confirm before you order. If you need it for a set date, tell us and we will work to it.

Can we pay by purchase order, and do prices include VAT?

Yes. We accept purchase orders from schools, colleges, trusts and public sector bodies as standard and can invoice against your PO. Prices shown are excluding VAT, and VAT is added at checkout.

Do you install, or is it delivery only?

Both. Many products are supplied and delivered only, and for selected projects we also survey the site, install and set everything up. If you would like installation, add it to your enquiry or ask us for a quote and we will confirm what is available for your product and location.

What warranty and support are included?

Every product comes with its manufacturer warranty, which varies by brand and range. On the products and projects that include it, we also provide training and ongoing phone and technical support. We will confirm exactly what is included before you buy.

Can I get a quote for a bulk order or multiple rooms?

Yes. Use the quote request on any product, or contact us with your list and quantities, and we will price the full project, including any mounts, installation or training you need.
